DS3dRNA

De novo sequence design for target RNA 3D structures, using structural constraints and higher-order interactions.

DS3dRNA searches for nucleotide sequences compatible with a target three-dimensional scaffold. Its public software connects fixed-backbone design with the ranking of candidate sequences.

The documented workflow combines three-body statistical energies, local thermodynamic screening, optional structural constraints, and sequence sampling. It provides a computational route from a target structure to candidate sequences; biological function and experimental validation remain separate questions.

  1. 01Target 3D structure

Define a structural scaffold and constraints.

  2. 02Sequence search

Explore candidates using structural and statistical scoring.

  3. 03Candidate evaluation

Rank sequences for further computational or experimental study.
