RNA structural scoring with a knowledge-based potential that incorporates three-body structural information.
TriRNASP addresses a central question in RNA modeling: how can candidate three-dimensional structures be evaluated using information learned from known structures? The published method develops a statistical potential incorporating three-body correlations.
Pairwise information describes a relationship between two sites. Three-body information describes the joint arrangement of three sites, allowing a scoring model to consider structural context beyond an individual pair. These are complementary views of molecular organization.
